The resin I use is top-quality, food-safe, and UV-resistant to yellowing. This item can serve food as long as the surface is not cut or punctured.
Each item is hand-made-to-order with love, by me, a human being, so please understand that no two items will be identical, and while I have high standards, due to the nature of resin, there may be slight imperfections. When commissioning this item, I can only guarantee similar style, shape, size, and color because just like in nature, no two snowflakes are the same. To ensure the longevity of your item, please handle with care:
- Faux snow is fragile. Hand wash only if necessary. Use a very slow stream of water rinse the snow. You may use dish soap on the non-snow portion. Pat non-snow surfaces dry with a soft cloth, layout to dry by placing item upside down but propped up so the snow isn’t touching the surface of the counter and allow to finish air drying.
- Do not cut or puncture the surface of the resin.
- Item is NOT dishwasher, microwave, or oven safe.
- Please avoid storing in extreme heat or cold, or in direct sunlight to avoid UV discoloration. While the resin is UV-resistant, it is not perfect. Keeping it out of the sun will keep your item vibrant, longer.
